Dear Church Family,
Our scripture is Psalm 139:13:
For it was you who formed my inward parts; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.”

This Mother’s Day we honor the mothers and all other women who have taught us about love. In honor of their gift to us, here is a poem from the christian poet Christina Rossetti which she wrote for her mother in the 1800’s.

“To My Mother”
To-day’s your natal day;
Sweet flowers I bring:
Mother, accept, I pray
My offering.

And may you happy live,
And long us bless;
Receiving as you give
Great happiness.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank you for the women who have carried me. Thank you for the gifts you have placed in my life. Help me to now be a gift to others. In your name I pray. Amen.
Christ’s Peace be with you all,
