Allan Hugh Cole Jr. is the Nancy Taylor Williamson Associate Professor of Pastoral Care at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. He is the author or editor of several books, including Good Mourning: Getting through Your Grief (Westminster John Knox Press, 2008), Be Not Anxious: Pastoral Care of Disquieted Souls (Eerdmans, 2008), and Losers, Loners, and Rebels: The Spiritual Struggles of Boys (Westminster John Knox Press, 2007). His next book, The Life of Prayer: Body, Mind, and Soul (Westminster John Knox Press) will be published in early March of 2009. Allan is married to Tracey Cole and they have two young daughters.
