MID Bible Study
WHO: Any and all who have a somewhat flexible lunchtime, Presbyterian or not, working or not. Come, and bring a friend.
WHAT: Online, free, alphabetical study of Biblical characters that meets in the middle of the day, in the middle of the week. Read a different person each week, then meet Wednesday lunchtime to discuss. Questions each week include several about the character and how that individual impacted each participant, but we will also touch on current events and art, lit, psalms or music and how they relate to the person of the week.
Lunch is on your own time. Please bring whatever you wish to drink.
No sign-ups, just come.
WHEN: Every Wednesday, 12:10-1:00pm, with breaks from Thanksgiving through Christmas, in the spring, and for summer. The study lasts 2 years, but there is no attendance policy and participants are free to start and stop as they need to.
WHERE: First Presbyterian, 3rd floor. Enter via the 12th street ramp, across from AOG. Take elevator to the 3rd floor and follow the signs.
WHY: Stories are a great way to learn about God, people and ourselves, but we rarely study all the Bible says about any given individual. We will focus on each character’s life story as far as the Bible tells it, and so understand God, others and ourselves better.
