Presbyterian Women (PW) offers women in the church meaningful ways to live out their faith in the midst of a caring community of women. They come together for Bible or book discussion, service projects, luncheon programs, or fellowship and fun. Our purpose is to emphasize and enjoy our Christian faith through these many activities and more. PW is composed of a Coordinating Team with officers and committee chairs, circle and guild leaders and a staff member as the church liaison to carry out the stated purpose and goals of PW.

THE CIRCLE

The Circle is the basic unit of Presbyterian Women, meeting the second Tuesday of the month, September through May. The day circles meet at 10:00 a.m., in homes and at the church. The evening circle meets at 6:30 p.m. at the church. Circles provide an opportunity for fellowship, Bible study, intercessory prayer, and service through mission projects.

Circle Meetings:

  • Circle #1, second Tuesday in member homes or in the Church Parlor, 10:00 a.m.

  • Circle #2, second Tuesday in Church Library, 10:00 a.m.

  • Circle #5, second Tuesday in Fellowship Hall, 6:00 p.m.

  • PW Coordinating Team meets last Tuesday in room 309, 10:00 a.m.

CHRISTIAN SERVICE

Christian Service is composed of two committees: one hosts receptions at the church following memorial services and the other provides gifts of food to those in need. These women meet when required to provide food for the bereaved, the ill, and the homebound.

THE CHURCH-WIDE
CHRISTMAS RECEPTION,

LUNCHEONS AND SPECIAL EVENTS

The Church-wide Christmas Reception, Luncheons and Special Events during the year are hosted by PW.

The PW December Luncheon and the Birthday Luncheon in May, celebrating PW’s history of mission giving, are open

to all Presbyterian Women and their guests. Hosting these events provides time for fellowship, recipe

sharing and learning new skills.

THE FLOWER MISSION

The Flower Mission coordinates donations for Sunday services and then, on a weekly basis, distributes the flowers to the hospitalized, the ill and our homebound members. These members are arrangers and/or deliverers.
